Howdy Y'all! Welcome to our home on the Internet. Clean Up Texas is an organization for all Texans and anyone else that cares about keeping Texas clean and beautiful. This great state has so much to offer and not only to us today, but for many future generations as well. We just need to keep it Clean. Unfortunately a few folks out there don't seem to care as much about how things look or the long term effects of litter, debris, chemicals and pollutants on our local evironment.

My name is Dan Hartman. I am a Texan. I have been to all corners of this great state and many places in between. I travel all of the time and love the different sceneries this great state has to offer. I founded Clean Up Texas one day while driving down a back country road enjoying the fields and pastures along the winding road and then noticed all sorts of junk, debris and trash piled up along the roadside. It hit me in the chest - HARD. It was a back road so there wasn't any other traffic and I wasn't in a hurry so pulled over when I saw it. I just stared for what seemed like hours. I couldn't believe that people would do this to the land. I spent the rest of that trip trying to figure out how I could do something to help put an end to this or at least try. Thus Clean Up Texas was founded.

With your help and that of every Texan and visitor to this great state we can put an end to this. Clean Up Texas is in our infancy. We are looking for help. We need Volunteers willing to make the committment to the organization and the efforts. We need experts from other Non Profit organziations, City and State Agencies, and Businesses to provide a solid foundation to make Clean Up Texas a reputable organziation that can accomplish the goals it sets forth. Most of all we need Donations to help build and launch this organization so that we can implement real change and help those that are unabe and perhaps unwilling to do clean up efforts themselves.
